Here we go again!
Well, the Christmas season is here again. We have our tree and decorations up. Although we had to put the tree in the hallway in front of the front door as there is no where else to put it! :-)
But I have got a few other bits and bobs around.
I think I have lost a bit of the Christmas cheer this year (a poet!), I just hate not being able to buy gifts and not worry about the price. It's quite depressing really. But in saying that we don't have that much to go now. We are doing the Christmas advent calendars with the girls. We tried to find the ones with the nativity scene on it but obviously the shops don't want to acknowledge that side of it, I guess it's the fact that they aren't the bestsellers either. Anyway we got the girls novelty ones, Terry chose Buzz Lightyear for himself and I got a Barbie one. We're doing the chocolates after tea and asking the girls questions pertaining to the meaning of Christmas.
Terry has been out playing golf this morning, he's been playing every Saturday for a few weeks (except when he had cut his thumb) and doing really well in a tournament thing that is on. It's so good seeing him happy and passionate. I think he might give up soccer soon and just enjoy the golf. When He's out playing the girls and I are being quite lazy, I didn't get up till 10am this morning, the girls were up watching a dvd and colouring in, still in their pyjama's. We had breakfast and then got the bedrooms tidied and washing out. When Terry got home and found out what time we got up etc., his comment was, 'well I'm pleased I'm out on the golf course!'.
This is just a quick update, now that Terry is home we'll possibly go do something. Might take Tank to the river or something.
Love to all
