The long awaited update!

Well, I have received my diploma. Yay!!!! It has been a long road but it's worth it to get a qualification in all my education years. I am proudly displaying my diploma on the wall above the computer, which is in our lounge. It's so cool!!

I'm struggling to find the confidence to write letters to potential clients. I haven't had to do anything like this before. It's finding the right words and the right way to write them. It's also feeling okay about 'blowing my own trumpet' which feels wrong.

Mum and Dad were over for a holiday recently and it was great seeing them. Well done Mum for losing all that weight! You've done so well and I'm very proud of you. I also have lost weight. I've joined the local gym and actually enjoy it. I've lost 3.5kilos in 3mths. I seem to have found the right exercise that suits me.

The girls are doing really well. They've all had great school reports (of course why would it be any other way). All 3 of them are above their age for reading. Aimee seems to have stopped being totally stubborn (I'm sure that's inherited from Terry!) and is becoming quite good at all her subjects. Emily and Sarah-Jane are both excellant students according to their teachers (why that's not the case at home I don't know!) and they enjoy school and have lots of friends - especially SJ. She's teacher's pet I think.

Emily is growing up so fast. She's entered the phase of not child but not teenager. I think she feels a bit left out with SJ and Aimee as they are still into their dolls and lego etc. I'm not sure what to do but she does seem to enjoy sitting at the kitchen table waffling on while I get tea ready. She also writes lots of stories and reads lots too.

It's been raining non-stop for the last two days (I think it's two). We've got the puddles returning and there's lots of debri in the river, whole branches and tree stumps. It's not meant to stop for another two days. Not good for getting washing dry!

The girls lost their last netball game, I'm not sure who was more upset, me or the girls! They've done so well all season. Both Terry and I are proud of them.

Well I'll get some photo's up. Most of them are self explanatory, especially of my diploma :-).

For some reason the photo's aren't loading properly, it's not showing the photo but it's html code thingy. Will have to sort it later as I have to pick up the girls. Sorry folks.
