About time!!

Hi everyone. I'm sorry for the long gap since my last entry. As usual I've been absolutely busy; like a lot of you no doubt.

Well I had the wonderful experience of driving for 2 1/2 weeks before having another 2 seizures during the holidays, so here I am back to the start again. I think it's been harder to accept this time as I did have those 2 weeks of driving. It would have been easier if I'd just had to carry on with another 6mths without that taste of freedom. The doctor has added in Epilem to my other medication, I've been avoiding taking this particular drug as I've taken it before and not liked the side effects. Which I'm having again with it: drowsiness, exhaustion, and I've yet to experience the weight gain (more on that later). I have decided to ask if there is some other drug that I can take.

I'm going to take a short break to get Aimee into bed, she had athletics today and now she's over tired and running amok! And the other two are not helping the situation.

Right, back again.

I had a lovely time on the weekend with my mum (23 - 26 Oct). She flew over on the thursday and stayed with us the whole time which I was especially happy about. My cousin Kristy had her wedding on the Friday, which I must say she looked so beautiful. And to think I use to change her nappies!

I love the way their looking at each other; pure love and devotion.
I like the father/daughter dance too (surprise, surprise Don can dance :-) )
The flower girl is Renee, Kristy's half sister.
A huge surprise was Melanie turning up at the wedding venue!! Which Mum kept secret from me. It was so good to have both Mum and Mel over.
On the Saturday we had a family barbeque at Don's and caught up with the married couple - a rather tired married couple.
Sunday was raining and cold and a perfect setting for having to say goodbye to Mum at the airport. A lot of tears and that's all I'll say about that (or I might cry again).
Nothing else has happened that is big news, just the boring but tiring normal day to day stuff.
Oh one more thing is that Jo and Steve and Beky get home from their month long holiday in the States - Oh how I wish I could go!
I better sign off because I need to use the hair dryer on SJ and get her into bed; and I think Terry wants to browse and dream on TradeMe.
